Goals: I will be attending Rutgers New Brunswick to attain my Master's Degree in Women's and Gender Studies, with a focus on eating disorders and body image. After I get my MA, I would like to teach Women's and Gender Studies at the high school level and eventually attain my PhD in Women's and Gender Studies. I hope to spread the "I Love My Body" Program and The Bod Squad all over the country, to encourage body pride and the empowerment of women. |

Goals: After graduating I hope to get a job in counseling or nonprofit work primarily focusing on adolescents and/or women. I would also like to continue my involvement in activist organizations especially those that work to better the lives of women. Someday if I'm really bored I'll get a Masters or PsyD or I'll just jump out of a plane. Most of all, I'd like to continue to raise the consciousness of every person I interact with. I hope that little by little that's already happening. |
Quote: "Turn and turn about on the world stage that is denied us, in the space we are forbidden to infringe, in the flooding light that is withdrawn from us, you and I, turn and turn about, ghost and mirror-image of each other, we play both parts...Men no longer exist, or rather, they do exist, they stamp their feet, they are everywhere, obstructing our path. They spy on us endlessly with unseeing eyes!" -Assia Djebar A Sister to Scheherazade |

Quote: "Who in the rainbow can draw the line where the violet tint ends and the orange tint begins? Distinctly we see the difference of the colors, but where exactly does the one first blendingly enter into the other? So with sanity and insanity." -Herman Melville
